The last few days have been filled with All County Band for Rachel, Matthew and Mary. Sunday evening we tore down the stage at The Lamb's Chapel and set up 100 plus chairs for the Home School Band and 3 local charter school bands. Amazingly it only took 1 hour to do it! Then Monday and Tuesday were filled with practices. Monday they were there for 5 hours and Tuesday for 4 hours. Rachel reports that our director, Mr. Morris, asked her to help quite a bit in setting up snacks for all the kids and showing people where things were. I wish I could've been around to do all that, but there was no way I could with 4 young kids in tow!! Someday... someday!!... I will be the mom who can do it all. (ha, ha) Tuesday evening was the concert. It was very well done. We could tell that Mr. Morris worked them hard, it was an entertaining bunch of songs that he picked, and the twins and I tapped our toes throughout several of them!! Having been the one to request the use of TLC I felt responsible that everything be back in place before we leave. Quite a few of the kids stayed around to help load chairs, music stands and put the choir area back in order. I must say I am very thankful for my great friend, Amy, who helped with clean up and her husband, Jay, who helped reassemble the stage! I'd have been a wreck without them! God is good. He always provides!
